Take a look inside the factory

Last year we had the fantastic opportunity to partner with a yarn factory in beautiful Turkey. Our journey began with anticipation and curiosity, and we knew we would get a unique insight into the manufacturing process of the beautiful yarn products we often take for granted.

From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the colorful and lively atmosphere. The factory was filled with machines working in harmony to create the different qualities of yarn. The staff were dedicated and skilled, and we were quickly impressed by their skill in maneuvering through the processes.

We were guided through every step, from the initial cotton treatment to the actual spinning process. It was incredible to see how the raw materials were transformed into fine and soft yarns. Along the way we learned about different dyeing methods and techniques to create different shades and patterns.

A highlight was getting to meet some of the creative minds behind the designs. Their passion for textile art was contagious, and we could feel the love and care that went into every thread. It was like discovering artistic secrets behind every ball of yarn.

After the tour through the factory, we had the opportunity to order quantities of our own yarn. It felt so special to know that each thread had a story and that our visit had given us a deeper appreciation for the craft.

Our visit to the yarn factory in Turkey was a memorable and educational experience. It gave us an insight into the work and passion that goes into making something as mundane as yarn and deepened our appreciation for the artistic aspects of textile making.
